Food super good. And the shrimp Cocktail one of the best

Place is nice @ clean. Customer service is always great. Waiters have order on point.We ordered Mexican steak, chario beans, rice, beef enchilada @ drinks top off everything, frozen Margarita.We enjoy every visit....

Very easy to get to. Staff was efficient, but short, they did not feel friendly. The chips were great, thin and crisp and the salsa was slightly peppery and served hot. The food was decent and came to the table quickly. I ordered the lunch #5, a cheese enchilada and tamale with sauce served with rice and beans with a cheese chip. The cheese enchilada was very good but the tamale did not seem to be homemade. I didnt care for the beans, they were a little runny and had a bit of a burned taste, the rice was average.

I came here with my brother and the waitress had the expression as if she obviously didn't want to serve us..the other waitress that wasn't ours was the one who kept serving us and she kept apologizing for that other waitresses actions but that's okay she didn't get a tip from us! We were going to tip the other waitress but we didn't see her so we left..not coming back!

I love Mexican food, thought I had found it a couple of times in Houston, I was wrong. My daughter and I stumbled on La Casita in Navasota, Texas and by far it is the best food I have tasted.

The food was ok, typical Mexican food. Nothing out of this world. Only ordered nachos and queso. Queso was thin and runny. Salsa is roasted and served warm. But the service was terrible. It was very obvious our server wanted to be anywhere else doing anything else.

Chunky guacamole is awesome! So far so good... cheese enchiladas are not bad. Margherita are lovely. Very happy with my visit. Will come again!

We came on a Sunday for lunch. We were seated but did not get any service for 15 minutes. Could not find the hostess or server so we moved to the bar. Asked to be served and again no response, no water or chips. We left and will not come back.

I don't know how anyone gave more than one star unless it was solely on service, which was good.

Decent food, about as good Tex Mex as Navasota has to offer. I will say it does look a little run down from what I'm use to but the people are super nice and service was commendable. I do think they could use a freshening up to attract new customers passing along the highway. It is a little odd that there is a wing joint behind the restraunt, makes me think they have the same owner.

Very nice visit. Good food and service. Happy to have a sit down meal.

The food is superb and the service is exceptional. I dined there on Sunday during dinner time. I had Tortilla Soup - it smelled and tasted absolutely wonderful! The Shrimp Nachos - YUM! The salsa is incredibly delicious - mild and light. I meant to ask if they sold it in jars - some of the best I have ever tasted. Not only did I order with certain dietary needs, I'm also picky and order how I want things prepared, not necessarily how they are prepared by the fabulous cooks in the kitchen. All of my requests were accurate . Our female server (Unfortunately, I don't know her name) was exceptional and attentive - top notch! The young lady who delivered our chips/salsa and drinks did so with a nice smile and the gentlman, who appeared to be a manager or owner, was welcoming and made sure the restaurant ran smoothly. I look forward to dining here again!

Nice, clean, local, and tasty. We enquired where to get breakfast in Navasota and were directed here. The food was fresh, good, decent service, and reasonably priced. I ordered scrambled eggs and chorizo, which were good and not too greasy. The pico was fresh, the salsa was warm and fresh. This is a good local place that is worth the visit.

Fast service, friendly staff - never had an empty drink or chips and salsa not on the table. Fantastic lunch prices. I got the enchiladas lunch special and it came out super fast and hot. Very impressed and will be back

From the outside not very inviting, ignore that-come on in. Clean and bright in here. 5 televisions to get every game. Yes!Pork rinds as you wait for meal, warm with ranch dip. Very good!Wings as ordered and very good, Hot and ready, looking truly good. Have to pray so eat.Yummy!

The food came out hot and quickly! Our server was so good! It was my daughter's bday so they made her feel special so I definitely will be returning to this restaurant.

In one word..."disappointed". The place was clean, the decor mice and authentic. The food? Very bland, on par with a national chain diner. Maybe it was what we picked, but 0/2 meals is not too good..

The fajitas salsa and chips are excellent.

Not authentic at all. Watery salsa, cheap queso and little flavor to the charro beans. Ground beef tacos were good, not a fan of the spicy sauce on top of the enchilada, wasnt spicy either.

Awesome! It takes them some time to cook but it worth the wait.

Only our 2nd time here since we live in BCS but it is good food. Good chips and salsa. And pretty good service. Nothing out of this world but definitely our first choice in the area. Very good!

We have visited twice at different times. Both experiences were okay. The first time we went, it was for lunch. The service was good and the food is okay. I will take one or the other any day of the week and be happy. However, the second time we went, there were hardly any people in the restaurant (dinner at about 5:30, around 7 people in the restaurant). The service was slow and the food was just okay. We asked ahead of time for extra salsa, it was finished before our food came (around 8 minutes) and didn't arrive until after our entrees were served. It was around 20 minutes for our food to arrive. The redeeming factor is that the food is inexpensive. Even though it is within walking distance of the motel we are staying at for about a month, we probably won't go back.

Unfortunately, not at all what I remembered. The service was just ok... And the food was not delicious like it used to be. Not sure what has happened to cause such a drastic change, but I won't be dining here again any time soon.

A little pricy but worth every penny!!! Expect 30 bucks a person including drinks and tip. The food is perfect and served hot. The mocajete is actually served in el mocajete. This a terrific meaty meal served sizzling in a giant stone bowl, that I've grown men not be a to finish. Comes with tortillas and side plate of pico rice beans and guacamole!! This alone will feed a small family. Waitstaff is very attentive. Nothing bad to say about this place.

It was an enjoyable dining expirience. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

Food was great service was great. Give it 4 stars because directly above the exit door and at the entrance was a large yellow jacket nest. The manager took care of it right away as soon as I said something to her.

The food is good they been open since 8: 00 am to 9 p.m and a lot parking area.

The lady that took my order messed it up, was overcharged $40 when I went to pay, my order was wrong when I got home, then went back and the order was missing my side entrees. Horrible experience
